Silence
A retreat here is not a holiday and it is not a course — it sits gently in between. You get the structure of a daily sadhana without the pressure of assessment: you wake to birdsong instead of alarms, sit while the sun comes up over the Ganges, and spend the rest of the day exactly as your practice asks you to.
Each day opens with pranayama and a gentle kriya, followed by a sattvic breakfast prepared with seasonal, locally grown ingredients. Afternoons are yours — book an Ayurvedic therapy, sit in on a talk on philosophy, walk to the riverside temples, or simply rest. Evenings close with mantra, meditation and kirtan under the stars.
Because groups stay small, our teachers get to know you by name and adjust the sadhana to suit you. Whether you arrive new to the mat, already deep in practice, or simply worn out and in need of quiet, there is room for you here.
Rishikesh has no shortage of retreat centres. Here is what makes sitting with us different.
Our teachers live on site and have taught kriya, pranayama and meditation for decades. You practise with the same faces every day rather than a rotating timetable of visiting instructors.
Every retreat is capped at twelve guests. Your teacher learns your name, your body and where your practice sticks — and shapes the day around that instead of a fixed script.
A resident Ayurvedic doctor and therapy rooms on campus. Your consultation decides which treatments you receive, rather than a menu of packages sold at reception.
We are in Tapovan, set back from the main road and a short walk from the Ganges. Close enough to reach the ghats before sunrise, far enough to actually sleep.
Three vegetarian meals a day from our own kitchen, cooked with seasonal produce from local farms. Vegan, gluten-free and allergy plates are prepared to order, not set aside.
Retreats run all year and start any Sunday, from three nights to two weeks. Tell us how long you can take off and we will build the stay around it.

Structured enough to keep you steady, open enough to let you rest. Mornings are for practice, afternoons are yours.
Timings shift slightly with the season and the group. Nothing is compulsory — rest whenever your body asks for it.
Clean, comfortable rooms with mountain views and three sattvic meals a day — so the only thing you have to think about is your practice.
Every room looks out over the Himalayan foothills or the valley below. Rooms are cleaned daily, have an attached bathroom with hot and cold running water, and stay quiet enough to sleep deeply.
Our kitchen is purely sattvic — three fresh vegetarian meals a day, cooked with seasonal produce from local farms. We serve no meat, no fish and no eggs anywhere on campus. Sattvic food is light, easy to digest and traditionally considered the diet that best supports a steady yoga practice.
Tell us before you arrive if you are vegan, gluten-free or have any allergies — our cook will adjust your plate, not your experience.
Still unsure about something? Write to us and a real person will answer — usually the same day.
Not at all. Most of our retreat guests are complete beginners or return after long breaks. Classes are taught in small groups, so your teacher can offer easier or deeper variations of every posture. If you have practised for years, tell us on arrival and we will keep you challenged.
Your accommodation, all three sattvic meals a day, herbal teas, every yoga and meditation session, philosophy talks and one Ayurvedic consultation with a therapy. Airport pickup, extra treatments and personal laundry are charged separately.
Dehradun (DED) is the nearest airport, roughly an hour away by road. Delhi is about six hours by car or an overnight train to Haridwar. We arrange taxi pickup from any of these on request — just send us your arrival details once your travel is booked.
Yes. Our kitchen is purely sattvic, so we serve no meat, fish or eggs anywhere on campus. Vegan, gluten-free and allergy-friendly plates are prepared on request — let us know your requirements before you arrive.
Comfortable clothes you can move in, something warm for early mornings and evenings, modest clothing for temple visits, a refillable water bottle and any personal medication. Yoga mats, props, bed linen and towels are all provided.
Usually yes, subject to room availability. Many guests add a few nights before or after their retreat to explore Rishikesh at their own pace. Ask us when you book and we will hold the room for you.
Your deposit secures the room and is non-refundable, but it can be moved to any other retreat date within twelve months. Cancel more than 30 days before arrival and the remaining balance is fully refunded.
Sunrise practice on the bank of the Ganges, Ayurvedic meals cooked fresh each day, and a small group throughout. Tell us your dates and we will hold a room for you.
Not sure which dates suit you? Write to us — every message is answered by one of the teachers, not an agent.
Your message is on its way. One of our teachers will get back to you shortly.
