A yoga festival on the bank of the Ganges in Rishikesh — days of practice, kirtan and fire ceremony, shared with people who came for the same reason you did.

Who We Are

A Gathering Beside a Big River

World Peace Yoga Festival takes place in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges at Rishikesh. Everything is built around the practice — the timetable, the kitchen, the rooms and the people who teach in them.

Mornings open with kriya and pranayama, afternoons run workshops and philosophy, and evenings belong to kirtan and the fire. Around the festival we also run 200, 300 and 500-hour teacher training and shorter yoga and Ayurveda retreats for people who want longer.

We keep numbers small on purpose. Our teachers and our Ayurvedic doctor stay on site for the whole festival, so what you get is attention rather than a timetable handed to you at the gate.

The morning sitting is what stayed with me. Having the Ayurvedic sessions alongside it made a real difference to how I feel every day.

Small class sizes meant I got real personal attention. I arrived nervous as a beginner and left feeling confident enough to teach.

Beautiful location, warm community and delicious sattvic food. Sitting by the Ganges at sunrise was easily the most grounding month of my life.

I did the 300-hour advanced course and it exceeded every expectation. The anatomy modules in particular were outstanding.
